A good Day to be Thankful


This summer, I am spending a lot of time outdoors walking and enjoying the simple pleasures of nature – the wind blowing through the trees, a touch of sun glistening on the river; all around me nature speaks and I listen. I feel alive and I am able to enjoy the outdoors. I am thankful.


Life has changed and may never go back to what it was before as we all live amidst the current pandemic but there is still much that we can be thankful for. I am still adjusting and some days are better than others - yet, there is much to give thanks for.


I am thankful for - family, good friends, kind neighbors and my network. Each one in their own way make our lives brighter - and we need to show them that we are thankful.

Being thankful and expressing gratitude is an important part of being happy in life.


We all have many things we have to be thankful for, no matter how big or small. Don't focus only on the disappointments and problems in life, rather look at the things that you have that you should give thanks for. Especially in difficult times, this focus helps us to keep going.


Not everyone likes small talk or feel comfortable engaging in same. And that’s fine, we are not all the same.


To express thanks will brighten someone else's day and make it better. Take the time to do so - this is a very important part of life and in living. We can’t expect others to know how we feel if we don't express ourselves.
