Happiness and Satisfaction

Are you happy? Do you feel satisfied with your present situation?

When I think of happiness, I think of living in the present moment and deriving joy from the action or the activity I am actively engaging in at that time. It is conscious living and a choice that I can make.

Satisfaction though is more lasting. It is based on reason and is the contentment that one feels when one has fulfilled a desire, need, or expectation. You have to work for it!

Satisfaction and happiness are linked to each other. Satisfaction may lead to happiness, while lack of satisfaction will lead to unhappiness.

I hope that the quotes below help remind you to live in the present moment as well as to know that even though you may not get everything you want in life, you will always get enough.
