Imperfectly Perfect

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

There’s nothing wrong with trying to improve. However, if you’re never satisfied with the outcome of the events or plans in your life, it may mean that you are trying to achieve perfection.

We are all wired differently - don't expect someone else to be exactly as you are or to see perfection the same way that you do.

One of the problems with perfectionism is that it causes you to look at what goes wrong instead of what goes right. This can be very stressful, whereas looking at what went well would keep you motivated and satisfied with a job well-done.

Focus on being your own unique person and know that it is perfectly fine to be imperfectly perfect.

An imperfectly perfect person is someone who has their own specific qualities such as being clumsy, nerdy, goofy, weird, etc. and those qualities make that person interesting and perfect in their own way. There is beauty in things that are odd and imperfect and being flawed is not always a bad thing - as defined in the Urban Dictionary

Quotes to inspire and remind you that imperfections are not inadequacies, rather they make you more interesting. In spite of our imperfections we can love ourselves unconditionally and we can bring this acceptance out into the world and into our interactions with others.

ONE BUT MANY
One God, many faces.
One family, many races.
One truth, many paths.
One heart, many complexions.
One light, many reflections.
One world, many imperfections.
ONE.
We are all one,
But many.”
