The Promises we Make

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

I cross my heart And promise to Give all I've got to give To make all your dreams come true In all the world You'll never find A love as true as mine.
~ I Cross My Heart (Lyrics) – George Strait

Beautiful words full of promise and hope… Promises… Promises made and meant to be kept. This song, so beautiful and so full of promise of a future filled with hope and of a love shining so bright and clear – what more can one ask for?

Do remember though….

In some cases, it may be best to break the promises made – it’s life and we change and grow. As they say, it is better to break your word than to do worse in keeping it.

May the quotes below help you in keeping those promises made as well as knowing when it is time to change and grow.

Do so with dignity and grace. Much love. 🌹
