The Right Time...the Perfect Moment...

Updated: Nov 18, 2020

Stop waiting for Friday for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now!

How long will you wait? What is the trigger for action to be taken?

What is the perfect moment?

Don't simply wait for things to just fall into place perfectly. This rarely happens and for me, not at all. The best time to take action is Now! Of course one has to plan - you can't blindly rush into a situation. However to make that dream a reality, action is required. Otherwise life will pass you by and you will still be waiting...

If a decision needs to be made, the worst thing is not to do anything at all. We all make mistakes and if the decision taken was not the best one, it is something that we can learn from. After all no one is right all the time and learning experiences have great value.

My experiences have shown that there is no better time than right now. If we decide to wait, we may wait for ever. If something needs to be done, start today!

🌾Focus...plan..take action. 🌾

Be aware though that when you overthink, your judgments gets cloudy and your stress level becomes elevated. You spend too much time doubting your abilities and it can become difficult to act.

And some of my favourite quotes to motivate you to stop overthinking and to take the required action to achieve the outcomes you desire.

Start today! Remember...

In a moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing to do, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
– Theodore Roosevelt
Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
– Benjamin Franklin
We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday's burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it.
– John Newton
I think and think and think, I've thought myself out of happiness one million times, but never once into it.
– Jonathan Safran Foer
Thinking too much leads to paralysis by analysis. It's important to think things through, but many use thinking as a means of avoiding action.
– Robert Herjavek
Don't get too deep, it leads to over thinking, and over thinking leads to problems that doesn't even exist in the first place.
– Jayson Engay
Although difficult, change is always possible. What holds us back from making the changes we desire are our own limiting thoughts and actions.
– Satsuki
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
– Mark Twain
